Applying For A She Angels Grant

How our process works:

Our Grant outreach team researches all submissions and vets the agencies.

We then pass them along to our Board which ultimately selects grantees.

Our grants go to diverse organizations that provide mentorship, resources, and training to women and girls.

Please only apply if:

You’re a women-owned non-profit organization located in the U.S.

You are a registered 501(c)(3)

non-profit.

You specifically,

serve women and girls.

Eligibility requirements for

agencies applying for the

She Angels Foundation grant:

1. It must be a Non-profit agency, founded by women.

2. A recognized leader in providing services to women.

3. Solid reputation and track record of delivering services.

4. Organizational capacity and experience to implement and sustain the project.

5. Willing to provide donor recognition to the She Angels Foundation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does an agency apply for a grant?

Applications for our grant are received by the Grant Screening Advisory Board (GSAB), at which point the screening process begins.

When are the finalists selected?

Based on the information from document research, finalists are selected by the She Angels Foundation Board of Directors 4 times a year.

What are the She Angels Foundation’s criteria for funding projects and programs?

1. Innovative projects that target a specific, critical, unmet need or resources for a diverse community of women and girls.

2. Projects demonstrating the most effective approach to meeting the need.

3. Projects ready for implementation in the calendar year following the grant award.

What types of funding are allowed?

1. All or a substantial part of the entire funding for a project.

2. Complete funding for a discrete portion of a larger project

3. Final funding for a larger, otherwise fully funded project.

What are the responsibilities of the Grant Screening Advisory Board?

The GSAB is composed of Founding members Advisory Board volunteers from the She Angels Foundation membership. The formal review process begins with formal meetings to review submissions and then to determine whether to proceed with the proposal, with the chair overseeing the process.
